Dr. Cathy Trimble is currently the principal at her alma mater where she has spent her entire career. She began as a substitute teacher, hired as a paraprofessional, and finally a teacher and coach. Eventually she became an assistant principal before she was named the school's principal. Her long term commitment has been fueled by her strong desire to make a difference in her small hometown. Through innovative practices and transformative efforts, her school, which was once known as a failing school has become an award-winning school.
As a result of her success, Trimble provides motivational speeches to inspire many both in and outside of the school setting. She is also sought after to share successful evidence-based practices to lead change with other educators and school districts.
In her spare time, Dr. Trimble enjoys playing golf, traveling and doing jigsaw puzzles.
